UNL may not be coming home from Nationals with any hardware, but we had a great time and saw some really amazing soils and landscapes, and met a ton of great new friends.

UNL Soil Judging Team took the 3rd Place Group Judging award at the National Collegiate Soil Judging Contest in Monticello, AR!

The Team took home FOUR awards from the Region V Contest in Ames, IA:

We wish to make the experience of bring on the Soil Judging Team available to as many students as we can, but a larger team means more expenses. If you’d like to help us out, please consider making a donation to the UNL Soil Judging Team Excellence Fund (01136440). We are a little over halfway to our goal of $30,000, but from now until Dec. 31, 2017, an anonymous donor will match any donation to the fund, totaling up to $5,000. We would greatly appreciate any support from our friends and alumni to continue to provide our students with valuable field experiences — and to bring home more awards!
